A report by an Egyptian young man who tries to make the most of his life and he has succeeded.
Assad F., now 26 years old, set off from his village in Quena (Abu Tsht) on his way to Hurghada to build his dream of living an independent life.
Assad comes from a family of 7 siblings, consisting of 4 boys and 3 girls. His mother is a housewife and educates the siblings to decent and honest people with values such as reliability, punctuality and humanity.
About his father, Assad F. reports that he is a teacher and has learned a great deal of self-confidence through his patience, education and cordiality.
His parents have always encouraged Assad in his desire to live his dreams. Alone on its own, Assad F. applied in one of the most prestigious hotels in Hurghada and was hired on 01.11.2013 in the Steigenberger Aqua-Magic as a waiter.
Fast, purposeful and with great diligence, the "simple" village boy became a talented waiter in the theme restaurant (Palappa), gaining a reputation that set him higher. His mentor, Food & Beverage Manager Mr. Raschad, noted very early on the great talent this young man actually possesses.
Mr. Raschad is an institution in the Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hotel, which has earned a renowned reputation not only among Germans, but also among Swedes, English and other international guests. European culture is no stranger to Mr. Raschad.
The Steigenberger Aqua Magic offers every employee the possibility of an apprenticeship as hotel manager according to German standards.
Noteworthy is the unusual fact that the general manager Mr. Dieter Geiger, who runs the hotel, has been installed several language courses, for example German or English in the hotel offer for further education programs.
Back to Assad F.: In the meantime, he has become head waiter at the a la carte restaurant in the Steigenberger Aqua Magic in Hurghadha. Assad tells the German Daily News that he feels a deep sense of gratitude and unwavering loyalty to his employer. Assad F. says: "Our hotel is special for each guest, and we are all very happy to have our guests enjoy a memorable and enjoyable vacation at the high standards of a 5 star hotel. We at the hotel are a team and it is a core competence of the Steigenberger Aqua Magic to be able to bring each and every guest our honest appreciation."
Assad F. is therefore a silent hero, because otherwise only high-ranking personalities are reported, but less about the employees, who are an indispensable integral part of the success and philosophy of the hotel. It is also worth noting that the staff is at the service of their guests 7 days a week for an average of 10 hours a day.
In particular, Assad F. thanks his parents for their support and the Steigenberger Aqua Magic hotel under the leadership of General Manager Dieter Geiger, whom he considers his second home.
